Type of appointments
Book an on the day slot
If you feel unwell you can telephone the surgery from 8.30 am for an appointment the same day
Pre-bookable appointment
For your convenience 30% of all our appointments can be pre-booked two weeks in advance, telephone the surgery to arrange a pre-bookable appointment.
To get the most out of your appointment, remember:
- You only have 10 minutes with the doctor—make a (short) list of what you want to talk to the doctor/nurse about.
- Turn up on time—If you are late the doctor/nurse will have to cut your time short and you may not be able to see them at all
- An appointment is not necessary to order repeat medication
Home visits
Requests for a home visit should be made before 11.00 am. This helps the doctor to plan their day. Details of the reason for the home visit must be given to the receptionist so the doctor can assess if you need a home visit or an appointment. The doctor may ring to determine the appropriate place for your appointment.
Home visits must only be requested when a patient is unfit to attend the surgery.
